Tip of the Month

When addressing a doctor, do not use:

the title 'Dr.' as well as the designation 'M.D.'
i.e., Dr. Paul Henry OR Paul Henry, M.D.

This is similar to the rule for writing Mr. T. Jones, Esq.

This is a 'double address' and not only incorrect but also unnecessary.

It should read: Mr. T. Jones OR

T. Jones, Esq.
